In order to determine if the rating is safe you need to know the weight of the boat as well as the trailer. If you have wheels with a capacity of 1,800 lbs per wheel that means you do not want to exceed 3,600 lbs assuming your boat trailer has two wheels. Since you are towing a boat trailer, I would recommend a galvanized wheel like # AM20354. This wheel is 6" wide and has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. You will want to make sure that your bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2". I have included a FAQ article on determining the bolt pattern of your wheel.
